Subjects: We’re seeking tutors who are qualified to tutor the following subject areas:

Test Preparation (Elementary through ACT)
Math – including Algebra, Geometry, Pre-Calculus, and Calculus
High School Physics, Chemistry, and Biology
High School English, Writing, and History
Foreign Languages

Availability: We’re looking for tutors who are available to tutor at least three students for a full school year. Most of our tutors work with 5-8 students. You should be regularly available for at least two of the following weekly times for the rest of the school year:

Mon, Tues, Wed, or Thurs from 5:00pm-9:00pm
Saturday from 10:00am-2:00pm
Sunday, any four hours from 9:00am-9:00pm

Chicagoland Locations:

Western Suburbs (Hinsdale area)
City of Chicago (downtown, Lincoln Park, and Hyde Park)
North Shore and northern suburbs

Additional Requirements

At least a bachelor’s degree that is complete or near completion (approximately 100 credit hours)
Previous tutoring or teaching experience
Excellent communication skills
Availability to work with at least three students for a full school year
Reliable transportation to students’ homes
